Impact on Contacts:
From the Contacts side, we generate custom events for Contact Merge. We’re currently exploring how to recover the impacted data and safely retrigger these events from our end.

On the consumption side, from contacts-update-events, we only consume appointment-related events (Created/Updated/Deleted) for CDP activity logs and ES indexing. Both flows are idempotent/safe and can handle these events being retriggered.

Impact on SmartList:
Since the Workflow and calendar appointment and attendee events were missed, this would return incorrect result for customers in the SmartList. Replay of these events would fix these as the workers are idempotent.

There were other services impacted as well during the timelines mentioned above.
